LEGO Group
Student Worker
  • Laura Meszaros

  • 25 år
  • Ansat siden august 2018
  • MSc Marketing at Aarhus University, BSS

  • How would you describe your field and main tasks?

I am part of the Sales & Marketing Team at LEGO House, mostly focusing on digital marketing. I assist in managing our social media channels, producing content and copywrite for posts on Facebook and Instagram.

  • What are the most exciting and challenging parts of your job?

It is a really creative position and I love to see how our efforts with digital marketing return in visitor numbers in the House. However sometimes it is also challenging to come up with new content that differs from what we already have

  • How do you use your education in your position?

It is great and helpful that I had the basic understanding about how marketing works and that I knew important terms and concepts when I started working at LEGO. However, I learned so much more in practice about digital marketing that they don’t teach you at the university (unfortunately).

  • What are the three most important things for you in your job at LEGO Group?

1. Responsibility – even as “just” a student worker I feel valued, heard and included, and I can try myself out in different tasks while taking responsibility

2. The people – the atmosphere is super nice, everyone is really friendly, helpful and easygoing

3. Fun – every workday is fun when you are surrounded by LEGO bricks.

  • Why is LEGO Group an attractive company for you?

I think that LEGO sets the bar really high when it comes to describing a desirable company to work for. I really like the work culture, the people, the environment, but most importantly (for me) I can identify myself with the company values and I love and believe in the product itself.
