How would you describe your field and main tasks?
I am a project leader in Discovery, which is part of R&D in Demant. In Discovery we develop radical innovative concepts for people living a hearing loss. We use the most recent technologies, like AI and sensors to address the challenges of people living with a hearing loss. In a small and fast project, we experiment with new ideas. These ideas are matured and tested in close collaboration with our customers and users.

What are the most exciting and challenging aspects of your job?
What really excites me about my job is that I can work with state-of-the-art technologies, while solving problems with products, which enhances and improves peoples lives. I am part of giving people with a hearing loss a better life.

How do you apply your education to your job?
In my education, I learned not only how the technology works, but the thing I use the most today is probably my understanding of how humans interact with technology and other people. This is a big part of my education as Design Engineer. This I use both when I envision new concepts for the future, but also in my daily job as a project leader.

What are the three most important things for you in your job at Demant?
We make a change in peoples life, I have a large saying in the project I work with, and being able to work with state-of-the-art technology.
