Om uddannelsen
Students in the MAIA program may select classes from the entire SAIS Europe course catalog. Students who spend both years at SAIS Europe complete 14 courses and write a thesis. Students who spend one year at SAIS Europe as part of a cooperative program complete six classes and write a thesis.
Economics
All MAIA candidates must successfully complete at least two economics courses. The foundational courses are Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Students who only complete the Microeconomics and Macroeconomics courses will also need to enroll in a non-credit Fundamentals of Trade and Monetary Theory course to ensure a basic understanding of International Economics.
