Master of International and Public Affairs

The Master of International and Public Affairs [MIPA] is a multidisciplinary programme in international relations with special reference to the Asia-Pacific region. The MIPA, designed for mid-career professionals, it provides the conceptual knowledge and in-depth understanding of regional and global affairs which are needed to meet the career challenges of globalisation and international changes in today's world.

Teachers are dedicated scholars trained in major universities, with strong professional and academic connections with the academic and policy communities throughout the region and the world. The programme, networked with major institutions in Mainland China and overseas as well as the local policy community, is designed for mid-career professionals and/or graduates who would like to prepare themselves for more advanced specialised academic studies. The programme also offers flexibility to satisfy candidates with different backgrounds and needs by allowing them to choose courses from related areas such as law, media studies and public policy, or to spend time overseas or in Mainland China.
