The Bachelor of Business (International Hotel & Resort Management OR International Restaurant & Catering Management) extends traditional studies in hotel management by exploring the areas of offshore resort management, eco-tourism management, the socioeconomic impact on a host environment, property management and consumer behaviour.

In the final year of the program, leading industry specialists will be available to critically evaluate a range of contemporary issues facing the international hospitality industry.

Ansøgning og adgangskrav

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age. Satisfactory completion of Year 12 secondary schooling or the equivalent overseas secondary education (eg International Baccalaureate) and demonstrated ability to undertake tertiary level studies. A sound knowledge of English language and basic mathematics, an operational knowledge of computers and effective communication skills are desirable. Minimum level of english fluency is requested (6.0 Academic IELTS).

Industry Placement

Industry Placement is a service that allows direct access to students from various courses offered by Le Cordon Bleu. Students work for a period of 6 months in a whole range of positions from Front Line Staff while studying any of the Bachelor of Business degrees through to Consultants while undertaking the Master of International Hospitality Management course. The Industry Placement service gives employers the opportunity to employ a valuable resource - a student who Is highly trained, motivated, committed to learn, applies their learning, has career aspirations within the industry
